Frenchman Thomas Lemar has failed to impress at Atletico Madrid so far this season.
The former AS Monaco star joined the Spanish side for €70m in the summer of 2018 but has not lived up to expectations.

Lemar was an Arsenal target before he made the big-money move and the Gunners are reported to still be interested in making a move for him.
However, they will face competition from Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyonnais, according to a report on Football Espana.
Lemar isn’t a regular starter for Diego Simeone’s side and is being tipped to make a move in the January transfer window.

The Gunners splashed the cash on Nicolas Pepe in the summer and he has failed to live up to the hype, so signing Lemar could be a good choice.
He’s looking to get his career back on track and make a name for himself ahead of the European Championships to get into the France squad.
The lure of playing back in his home country where he was so successful initially could prove to be too much though, but Arsenal should definitely keep a close eye on his situation.
