The club took to social media yesterday to confirm that the Spaniard was working his way back to full fitness.
The Real Madrid loanee has been a shadow of the player that fans saw during the opening few weeks of the season.

The thought of Ceballos working under Arteta is one that should excite Arsenal fans.
As an Arsenal player, Ceballos is someone who has flattered to deceive. He put in a midfield masterclass against Burnley way back at the start of the season, but we’ve not seen that level of performance since then.
However, you would argue that Emery did little to help the Spaniard during his time in the side.
Fans were always left second-guessing what exactly Ceballos’ role in the team was and the hope should be that, with a specific role and guidance under Arteta, he could finally flourish in London.
