Arsenal have postponed Freddie Ljungberg’s press conference until tomorrow ahead of the imminent appointment of Mikel Arteta.
Journalists and media organisations had been flocking to London Colney today for the scheduled pre-match press conference, which was due to take place at 1:30pm.
However, it has since been revealed that it will no longer take place with Arteta believed to be close to taking the job. These Arsenal fans on social media have been reading between the lines.

It’s fairly obvious at this point why the press conference has been cancelled and it now seems to be a matter of hours before we see Arteta officially confirmed as the new Arenal boss.
All being well, it looks like Arteta will get the opportunity to speak to the media before Saturday’s game against Everton.
Previous reports have claimed that a compensation deal between Manchester City and Arsenal could be agreed today, which suggests it’s only a matter of time now.
