Arsenal had another bad day in the office and were lucky to even get a 2-2 draw against Southampton at the Emirates stadium.
Danny Ings and James Ward-Prowse were the scorers for the away side, while a brace from Alexandre Lacazette saved a point for the Gunners.
After a good start from the Saints, they took the lead in the eighth minute, when a quickly taken free-kick from Ryan Bertrand caught Arsenal out and Ings tucked his effort in.
The Gunners did equalise nine minutes later, when a Kieran Tierney cross found Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, whose shot deflected into the path of Lacazette to score.
Around the 70th minute, the Arsenal left-back made a clumsy challenge on Ings to hand Southampton a penalty. Ward-Prowse stepped up, but his penalty was saved and he had to tuck in the rebound to avoid disappointment.
However, in the 96th minute of the game, Lacazette popped up with another equaliser for the home side, after Southampton missed a barrage of chances to kill the game off.
