A number of Arsenal fans have shared their opinions on the news that the Gunners could consider Mikel Arteta as a potential replacement if Unai Emery is sacked.
Manchester City’s assistant manager was linked with the job prior to Emery’s appointment, and reports emerged on Sunday evening suggesting he will be a candidate once again if Emery is relieved of his duties.
Following the news, these Arsenal fans reacted with mixed opinions as some greeted the rumours with positivity, while others were more sceptical.

Appointing Arteta if Emery is sacked would certainly be an interesting decision given his lack of experience as a manager.
The likes of Jose Mourinho and Max Allegri have both been names linked with replacing Emery if he does depart, and both are vastly more experienced than Arteta.
However, the former midfielder has worked under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City since 2016, and the City boss has revealed previously that he believes Arteta has the ability to become a top manager.
