Arsenal are reportedly in the hunt to sign Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan, but would he be a good signing for the Gunners?
According to claims from Italian news outlet FC Inter News, the Gunners are among a host of clubs who have expressed an interest in signing the experienced winger.
Arsenal have reportedly made a tentative approach to sign Perisic, but is the man to solve their issues out wide?
It has been clear for some time now that the Gunners lack natural wingers in their first-team squad. Reiss Nelson and Xavier Amaechi are both incredibly promising, but Alex Iwobi is the only recognised senior player in this position.
Unai Emery has utilised a range of systems following his move to North London, but he has also been restricted and forced to use the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on the left at times.

Signing Perisic would provide a remedy to this issue. The Inter star is positionally disciplined, uses the ball efficiently and is also capable of scoring goals regularly.
Arsenal must strike a balance between experience and youthful exuberance next season, and landing a seasoned pro such as the Inter star would go some way in helping them achieve this.
The Gunners should not, however, spend big on the signing of Perisic. What must be focused on is their deficiency in their own third, with the centre of defence surely the priority for Emery and the recruitment team this summer.
However, the Croatia international would undoubtedly improve the team, and he would add a reliable option to the attacking ranks.
