Unai Emery has claimed that Arsenal have not launched a bid for Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas.
Having fallen out of the regular starting XI at the Bernabeu since the arrival of Thibaut Courtois, Navas has made just eight appearances for Los Blancos this season.
The Spaniard admitted that he isn’t entirely in the loop with transfers however, and is quoted by Sky Sports as saying:
I don’t know. We never speak about one goalkeeper because I think – and it’s true – we are very happy with the three goalkeepers we have now. We’ve never spoken about Keylor Navas.

When asked if the claims had any substance, the tactician succinctly said:
Not true.
Bernd Leno made the move to the Premier League from Bayer Leverkusen only in the summer, but has looked shaky in his first season in English football.
Veteran Petr Cech didn’t look much better at he start of the season either, but it seems Emery is prepared to commit to a future with Leno in between the sticks.
