Julio Pleguezuelo made his Arsenal senior team debut against Blackpool in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday evening, and is already eyeing up where his next opportunity might be coming from.
The Spaniard joined the Gunners in 2013 as a youth product, having previously been a member of Barcelona’s La Masia.
Signing a professional contract in 2016, Pleguezuelo was sent out on loan twice before he got his chance in the first team at Arsenal.

Spells at Mallorca and Gimnastic prepared the prodigy for his debut in English football, and the 21-year-old felt good about his performance.
Quoted by the Daily Mail, Pleguezuelo said:
It’s been quite a long time since I joined the club, six years to be fair.
I couldn’t be any happier, I’m buzzing. I tried to stay calm. I knew this was a very big chance for me. It doesn’t happen every day that you play for Arsenal’s first team.
I just tried to do everything simple and play for the result. I’d love to play that (the North London Derby). As I said, I have to keep working and see if I can get another shot.
Arsenal host Spurs on December 2, and whether Pleguezuelo is in the starting lineup remains to be seen!
