Emile Smith Rowe will be an Arsenal player for the immediate future, after the midfielder confirmed he wouldn’t be leaving on loan in January.
Delivering a series of jaw-dropping performances in Singapore during the preseason, Smith Rowe made his first appearance of the season in Arsenal’s Carabao Cup tie with Brentford on Wednesday night.
The 18-year-old has impressed manager Unai Emery, and as such is not expecting to be sent away from the Emirates any time soon.

Smith Rowe was quoted in the Arsenal match-day programme (reported by TalkSPORT) as saying:
That showed me that club had faith in me,
We also spoke about my development and the boss was clear that I remain at the club and not go out on loan.
Smith Rowe has made 11 appearances for England at age-group level, most recently with the under-18s.
The phenom also made his European debut this season, coming on as a substitute against Vorskla Poltava in the Europa League.
