Arsenal midfielder Alex Iwobi says he should be fit to face Atletico Madrid in the second leg of the Europa League semi-final on Thursday evening.
As reported in The Mirror, Arsene Wenger revealed that Iwobi picked up a hamstring injury during the game against Manchester United on Sunday, despite playing the full 90 minutes.
Thursday’s tie is delicately poised after the first leg after Antoine Griezmann scored an equaliser with just under 10 minutes remaining for Atletico, who were forced to play the majority of the match with 10 men.
That means the Gunners must score at least once in Madrid if they are to make it to the final and have the chance of giving Arsene Wenger the perfect send-off.

Speakinga about his fitness, Iwobi said:
I believe it is very good. I am still being assessed but to me it is good and I will be okay. We will have to wait and see but I believe I will be okay and fit.
Iwobi has been in and out of the team this season, making 19 Premier League appearances and three in the Europa League, scoring twice.
David Ospina and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are also doubts for that match, and decisions will be made on the pair closer to kick off..
