According to HITC, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers and Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez are not serious contenders to take the Arsenal managerial job upon Arsene Wenger’s departure.
Many managers have been touted for the Arsenal job after the club confirmed that Wenger would leave at the end of the season, after 22 years of service in North London.

Rodgers was one of the main men linked to take over prior to the 2018/19 season at the Emirates, but these reports have quashed those rumours.
Benitez had been more of an idea than a linked candidate, but the former Liverpool and Chelsea manager has also been ruled out of the job.
Massimiliano Allegri, Carlo Ancelotti, Luis Enrique and former midfielder and Manchester City coach Mikel Arteta, have all been associated with becoming the Frenchman’s successor.
No matter who comes in, there will be a huge amount of pressure as they attempt to fill a very large pair of shoes.
