Luiz has been linked with a move to Arsenal this winter due the the limitations the Gunners currently have in defence, but they will have to look elsewhere to someone like Jonny Evans, who has been linked with a move to The Emirates in the current window.
Arsenal and Chelsea have already done business with each-other on this deadline day, with Olivier Giroud leaving The Gunners for The Blues, but it is unlikely that there’ll be any more deals between the two London rivals.
As they prepare for their Europa League knockout campaign, as well as their push for a top four place, Arsenal will be looking for reinforcements at the back but they may have left it too late.
