Speaking to Arsenal Official Website, new signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan says he is excited to link up with Mesut Ozil at the club.
After completing a move to Arsenal from Manchester United, with Alexis Sanchez going the other way in a straight swap deal, Mkhitaryan did not leave it long to come out with praise for Arsenal’s “assist king”.
Many are excited to see the two exciting play-makers play in the same side together, providing for Alexandre Lacazette, and maybe Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang, who’s been linked with a move to The Emirates.
In an interview with Arsenal, Mkhitaryan spoke highly of the German international by saying
Here at Arsenal I know that lots of players move a lot and it’s incredible the way [the team] plays. I will do my best to assist them as well, I think it will be really fun to play alongside Ozil. Everyone knows he’s a fantastic player, he’s an assist king! I look forward to it. [I admire] his intelligence, the way that he can understand the game, reads the game, plus the way he gives pace to the game and of course his final decision.
If Arsenal can pin Ozil down to a new contract and also sign Aubameyang, the post-Sanchez era will start to look very bright for Arsenal and their fans.
