According to the Mirror, Arsenal are ready to walk away from signing Thomas Lemar after missing out on him on deadline day.
During the deadline day madness at Arsenal, Lemar was part of the saga between Alexis Sanchez moving to Manchester City and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain moving to Liverpool.
The Chilean didn’t move to City, meaning Arsenal didn’t go in for Lemar, until Oxlade-Chamberlain joined Liverpool so Arsenal went back in for the Frenchman but missed out on him.

A bid of £90m was turned down by Lemar’s club Monaco and with Liverpool and Barcelona interested in his services, Arsenal feel like the deal is impossible despite Monaco being likely to sell Lemar at the end of the season.
Monaco were reluctant to sell Lemar in the summer after the departures of Kylian Mbappe, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Bernardo Silva and Benjamin Mendy.
Arsenal are now looking at other targets such as Lyon’s Nabil Fekir, who is the former teammate of Arsenal’s top-scorer this season in Alexandre Lacazette.
