According to reports in Spain, Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane wants to sign Alexis Sanchez in January, football.london report, but will face competition from Manchester United and Manchester City.
Zidane is reportedly a huge admirer of Sanchez and would be open to the idea of bringing him to the Bernabeu to bolster his squad.
Sanchez looked set to be leaving Arsenal for Manchester City on deadline day, only for the Gunners to pull out of the deal after they failed to bring in winger Thomas Lemar from Ligue 1 side Monaco.
With the Chilean’s contract set to expire in the summer, Real Madrid are set to battle Manchester City in securing the services of Sanchez in January, with Arsenal also preparing to offer him a new deal to stay at the Emirates.
Sanchez is yet to start a league game this campaign, with boss Arsene Wenger explaining it is due to fitness and not the summers events, with Sanchez looking set to start on Monday against West Brom.
