Defender Mathieu Debuchy is set to miss Arsenal’s pre-season tour of Australia to sort out his future and a potential transfer away from the club, according to the Mirror.
The 31-year-old has featured just once for Arsenal in the Premier League last season in their 3-1 win over Bournemouth back in November.
The Frenchman just have one-year remaining on his current deal and could leave the club on a free transfer.
Debuchy was linked with a sensational move to Manchester United in the January transfer window but reports stated that Arsene Wenger blocked the move.
Another reason for Debuchy’s likely departure is that with the signing of French striker Alexandre Lacazette yesterday, Arsenal have reached the the limit on non-homegrown player and are looking to sell two players.
Lucas Perez is set to rejoin Deportivo while Olivier Giroud has been heavily linked with a move to either West Ham or Everton.
Two sales will allow Arsenal to move for either Monaco’s Thomas Lemar or Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez.
