Former Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann is set to be offered a coaching role by Arsenal, according to Gary Jacob of The Times.

On the back of a disappointing 2015/16 season where Arsenal missed out on qualifying for the UEFA Champions League for the first time under Wenger, the Frenchman has been forced to undergo changes to his backroom staff in a bid to turn the club’s fortunes around.
Crystal Palace’s Andy Woodman has been recently linked with a move across London, while Lehmann is also in contention for a return to the club.
The German shot-stopper was instrumental in Arsenal’s unbeaten league campaign in 2003/04 and was part of their run to the Champions League final two seasons later, where he was sent off in the final against Barcelona.
Lehmann made 148 appearances for Arsenal over six seasons.
