Arsene Wenger has spoken to AS Monaco forward Kylian Mbappe to discuss his future plans.
The Independent, who cite French outlet L’Euipe reports that Wenger phoned the striker to talk through not only a potential move to the Emirates this summer, but his career in general.
Mbappe has been linked with several moves to the Premier League, with the whole of Europe hotly poised to follow his rise in France.
Liverpool and Manchester City are both contenders from the Premier League, whilst Real Madrid are also thought to be very interested in the youngster, who is likely to cost around £118 million.
Previous reports have suggested that the player would like to make a move to Barcelona or Real Madrid before he turns 22. Mbappe may be wary of moving to either of the Spanish giants in World Cup year, handing the Gunners a boost in their pursuit of the youngster.
