Inter Milan could beat fellow Serie A rivals Juventus to the signature of Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, according to a report on the Evening Standard.
The Polish keeper is set to leave Premier League club Arsenal this summer after two successful loan seasons in the Serie A with AS Roma.

The shot stopped looked likely to be joining Juventus as a long-term replacement for Gianluigi Buffon who is set to retire after the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
But Inter Milan are now preparing to bid for the 28-year-old and with only one year remaining on his contract at the Gunners, he could be sold for a fee of around £15 million. Juventus have not met that asking price and Inter a yet to decide if they want to pay that much for Szczesny.
New Inter coach Luciano Spalletti has previously worked with the keeper during their time at Roma and is hoping that their familiarity will lure the keeper to the San Siro.

Inter are yet to make a formal offer but negotiations on this deal are moving very slowly as Arsenal want to ensure they have a replacement ready before they sell Szczesny to avoid any goalkeeping problems before the upcoming season.
The Gunners missed out on England international Jordan Pickford who joined Everton from Sunderland for a fee of £30m.
