Spanish forward Lucas Perez has made contact with former club Deportivo about a potential return in the upcoming summer transfer window, according to La Voz de Galicia.
The striker, who joined Arsenal from La Liga side Deportivo last summer for a fee of £17 million, has questioned Arsene Wenger about his lack of first-team opportunities having impressed when he has played for in the FA Cup and the Champions League.
However, according to Spanish media outlet La Voz de Galicia, the 26-year-old is angling for a return to former club Deportivo after a disappointing season at the Emirates.

The forward has impressed when given the chance by Arsene Wenger, scoring seven goals and making five assists in his 21 league and cup appearances.
The Spaniard, who scored 17 goals in 36 appearances for Deportivo last season, believes a chance of a World Cup 2018 call-up would be boosted if he returns to the La Liga and gets regular first-team football.
