The rumours linking Riyad Mahrez to Arsenal have been out there for quite a while now. Although it was a bit silent the last week, L’Equipe reported this week that Arsenal had submitted a bid for the Algerian star.
That bid was rejected, however it has now been reported that Arsenal have submitted a new bid of €41 million plus €9 million in bonuses.

Arsenal have been linked heavily with the Algerian star, but Leicester remained adamant that they would keep him, while the player would not force his way out of the club, even though he wanted the move.
According to Get French Football, the fresh €41 million bid is enough for Mahrez to push his way out of the club.

Arsenal fans will wary of such talk, after the Jamie Vardy saga.
