Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign Borussia Monchengladbach’s Swiss central midfielder Granit Xhaka.
The 23-year-old star will join the club after Euro 2016 for a fee believed to be around £35million, making him the third most expensive player in the club’s history, behind Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.
As Arsene Wenger enters the final season of his contract, which runs out in the summer of 2017, it’s believed that the likes of Alisher Usmanov and Stan Kroenke have told the Frenchman to sign big this summer and do his utmost to try and win the Premier League.
