Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has just one year remaining on his contract, with no renewal yet in place.
It’s probably going to happen but in the meantime, plenty of names have been touted for who could take over from the Frenchman after his 20 years.
From Diego Simeone to Joachim Lowe to even Wenger’s rival in Jose Mourinho.
But what about an ex-Arsenal legend? We’ve all seen how it’s gone for Simeone at Atletico Madrid – he spent the majority of his playing days at the Spanish side and has gone on to become a managerial legend, winning La Liga at a time where both Real and Barcelona are vastly ahead of them in the amount of money that they make.
Arsenal could do with the same sort of thing. The Gunners have a huge amount of club legends, and while they’re not exactly managerial greats yet, if they can recreate their on the field brilliance into the tactics and dressing room, the results could be stunning.
Which of these 10 Arsenal legends do you want to see as the club’s next boss?
