March saw the Gunners exit both the UEFA Champions league in Barcelona, and the FA Cup at home to Watford, but it also witnessed the north London side getting their title race back on track after a huge win on the road away against Everton, at Goodison Park, just days after being dumped out of Europe at the Camp Nou.
Arsenal were involved in six games during a busy March period, including two games at home whilst the other four were away. Out of the two home games, the Gunners lost both, to Swansea in the league, and to Watford in the FA Cup, preventing them from becoming the FA Cup holders for a third season running. Arsenal also managed to only net twice in those two games, both matches finishing 2-1.
It was on the road where Arsenal picked up their best results of the month, an important point against north London rivals Tottenham at White Hart Lane, as well as a crucial win at Goodison meant they kept their title hopes alive. They also knocked Hull out of the FA Cup for the third season running in a fifth round replay, before taking on Barcelona at the Camp Nou, being unable to turn around a trailing 2-0 aggregate scoreline, losing 3-1 on the night.
11 goals in total were recorded from the Gunners during March, nine of those came away from home. Here are the best.
