Ten men Arsenal keep their title chances alive in a thrilling North London Derby encounter against Tottenham Hotspur, ending 2-2 at White Hart Lane.
In what was probably the biggest North London Derby Derby in 25 years, the first time Tottenham were properly considered as title contenders and were one up on Arsenal, leading their neighbours in the race for English dominance by three points before the whistle blew for kick-off.
It was a proper derby on Saturday, the game was open, end to end, and both teams were getting chances. Tottenham, however, started the game more brightly, forcing Arsenal goalkeeping replacement David Ospina to make some spectacular and crucial saves, but it was Arsenal who broke the deadlock through Aaron Ramsey. Hector Bellerin had the ball on the edge of the box and squared it to the Welshman, who very cleverly flicked it beyond Hugo Lloris, scoring what turned out to be a crucial goal.
The Gunners game turned upside down though on the other side of the half-time break, with Francis Coquelin making a clumsy challenge on Harry Kane, giving the referee no choice but to send the Frenchman off. Tottenham then scored twice in quick succession, before Alexis Sanchez saved the day for Arsenal, getting an equaliser with 15 minutes to go.
So in a game that ended all square, meaning nothing changes between the two rivals, what can we learn from the game?
