Hector Bellerin has spoken about establishing himself at the top-level and ‘staying professional’.
Speaking about what keeps him motivated, the Spaniard admitted the love of the game helps.
For me there’s a mix of things. One is a love for the game and a love of winning. Since I was a little kid, I always wanted to win. It didn’t matter what game I was playing, I just wanted to win. It was kind of a pride thing. That makes me go out there and give everything.

The 20-year-old then admitted helping his family keeps him going, too.
My family are also very important. When I was in Barcelona, my parents made all sorts of efforts to come to every single game. I can’t remember one single game where there wasn’t a member of my family in the stands. If it wasn’t my parents, it would be my grandparents or my uncle.
There was always someone there. For me there’s no better feeling than being able to provide for my family now and repay them for everything they did for me. Those two factors explain my motivation.

Bellerin has enjoyed an exceptional season for the Gunners so far, starting all but two of Arsenal’s Premier League games, putting in assured performances both offensively and defensively. His current run of form hasn’t gone unnoticed with former club Barcelona rumoured to be interested in bringing back the right-back as a long-term successor to Dani Alves.
In the short-term, the 20-year-old will make a return to the Camp Nou against Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League round of 16, in which his defensive abilities will truly be tested as he comes up against one of the best attacking forces in recent memory – the seemingly unstoppable trio of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar.
